Reservations

Reservations can be made by phone, E-mail, on-line through our website or in person. In order to guarantee your booking, we must process a deposit when you make your reservation. Credit card information is typically required; however, if you do not have a credit card you may leave a deposit in cash or via E-Transfer and present valid photo identification in person. Deposits are non-refundable but may be transferred to a new booking in many cases.

  • Self-Guided Excursions require 35% of the total cost as a deposit.

  • Outfitting packages and Guided Excursions require the first day’s payment for each person as a deposit.

  • Adventure Dates require 35% of the total cost as a deposit. 

  • Shuttles, portaging, backcountry delivery and water taxis require 50% of the total as a deposit.

Rates

Self-guided Excursion rates are calculated for the pre-determined amount of time allotted for the particular route you have chosen, at the time of booking. Use of of equipment beyond the allotted time may incur an additional cost of $20 per person, hourly.

Rental charges are based on the number of calendar days that equipment is reserved for, not per 24 hour period. A two day charge applies to all overnight rentals.

All rates are shown in Canadian funds. U.S. funds may be accepted at face value, less a 5% conversion fee.

All rates are subject to applicable taxes and tax is extra. 

We reserve the right to change rates at any time.

Special rates may be available for certain groups. Please contact us for details.

Rescheduling & Refunds

Deposits are non-refundable; however, may be transferrable for rescheduling if notice is given before the following deadlines:

  • Rescheduling for Self Guided Excursions and rentals must be made by phone or email 3 full days prior to the scheduled date. 

  • Rescheduling for outfitting packages, Adventure Dates and guided trips must be made by phone or email 7 days prior to the scheduled date.

Deposits for reservations canceled after the reservation deadline will not be refunded.

There is a maximum one day refund for canoe rentals and other equipment returned early.

Refunds are applied to the same payment method that was used to book in most cases. Please note that a refund may take a few days to be fully processed.

Responsibility & Damages

You are responsible for the care and security of our equipment while it is in your possession.

All equipment must be returned on time, reasonably clean and in good working order in order to avoid extra costs. You will be charged fair market value for any lost, stolen or damaged items.
