Our most popular self-guided excursion! A short forty-minute drive from Kanata or Pembroke brings you to the start of this epic river adventure! You can paddle kayaks or canoes, up the gentle current to one of the Ottawa Valley's historic logging chutes. Once there, you're welcome to get out and take a short walk up the falls. Here, you'll have the opportunity to take a break and truly soak up the beauty of the river from the top of the falls. Difficulty level: Novice - Able to navigate in a slow current, prior paddling experience recommended. 3 kM total, round-trip.
